As the continent of Europe is facing a major energy crisis this winter, Kosovo has increased its energetic security, by returning to production of the Block 4 of TPP “Kosova A”, which was under repair since the beginning of summer.
After three months of the intensive work, as a contractor of the Kosovo Electricity Corporation (KEK), the consortium led by “Balkan Petrol Energy” in cooperation with the “Monting Energetika” from North Macedonia has successfully completed the overhaul of the generator of block IV in the power plant Kosova A. After this block returned to the production state, TPP “Kosova A” has regained its total production capacity of 390 MW.
